Serpentine Transmission is an improvised music quartet of Nicki Chen (electro acoustic viola and pedals), Nicholas Deyoe (guitar), M.A. Harms (drums/percussion), and Micaela Tobin (voice and electronics). In performance, they creep their way through delicate melodies and atmospheric textures into extreme sound walls of avante-doom, cathartic drone, and vehement noise. Their first release, titled “Wad of Clay” is a recording of their first performance together at Oracle Egg in Los Angeles, March of 2024. For most up-to-date info, follow us on instagram.
